Why does “Etix” appear on my credit-card statement?

Etix processes ticket transactions on behalf of many venues and events. Etix provides the ticketing and payment technology used for the transaction. Etix may appear on your bank or credit-card statement even if you purchased tickets through a venue's website or box office.
If you don't recognize an Etix charge, first check recent ticket or event purchases, including purchases made in person at a venue or box office.
